Saklıgöl, which is one of the most popular places in the Şile district of Istanbul, is located in Kamandere village, approximately 8 km away from Şile centre. Saklıgöl, a dam lake, is one of the most beautiful places to go on a nature tour with its unique beauty, nature’s great voice to eat breakfast and it is a perfect place to spend a nice weekend.
You can take a nature walk and catch beautiful landscapes accompanied by images of ducks and geese found in the lake. You can have breakfast at the lakeside, you can drink your tea, you can breathe clean air, you can have a barbecue or a picnic on the side of the lake, you can shop from the benches set up by the villagers in Saklıgöl.
There is only one eating and drinking facility on the side of Saklıgöl, no hostel etc. to stay at the lakeside.
The facility was beautifully overlaid onto the lake, beautiful verandas. According to your wishes, you can eat from the prepared meals from the restaurant, or you can also picnic on the side of the picnic area or on the terraces over the lake or in the wooded area near the lake.
BreakFAST is the SLOWEST part for us/Turks. We care about it so much! You should try and see how delicious they are. And a view of the lake accompanies that breakfast, what does a person want something more than that?
You can feed ducks, walk there, and try delicious foods! Don’t forget your power bank’s because your charge will finish in a short time, you will not say no to taking photos. 😊

Address: You can reach Saklıgöl in Kamandere Village about 8 km from the centre of Şile by following the road from Istanbul to Şile and returning to the direction of Ahmetli Village. After 4 km further on this road, you can follow the signposted Saklıgöl signpost.
